Museum of Computer Games

The history of video games

From the first lab experiments and arcades to home consoles, personal computers, network games, smartphones and VR. Here you can not only look but also play.

Walk through the eras of video games and see how, together with technology, the games themselves changed, and with them the places and the people around them.

A journey through eras

Each hall is its own time and place: a lab, an arcade hall, a living room of the 1980s and 1990s, a PC room, the network era, the mobile city and VR.

Play

Here games don't stay behind glass. Landmark games of different generations can be played on consoles, computers, emulators and modern devices.

Living culture

The hardware sits next to magazines, posters, furniture and everyday details. It matters not only to see a device but to feel the world people played it in.

The museum reception: a desk with the Museum of Computer Games sign, a pink pixel ghost on the wall and the words "The game has begun" on the floor.
